Halloween… “Raise the Dead” Open Mic, Tuesday (10/31) at Tommy Doyle’s in Newton. 8:30pm start. Hosted by Zack Bolles. Perform songs by dead people for your open mic set. Costumes encouraged! 

Tim Ko.’s Acoustic Social visits Brewer’s Coalition, (344 Walnut St., Newtonville, MA) Wednesday Nov. 1st. - I’ll be filling in for Zack Bolles as open mic host. 9-11pm. Be there or square!

Jay Lapin is a singer-songwriter from a small town just outside of Worcester, Massachusetts . Jay, who is influenced by the likes of Jason Isbell and Ray LaMontagne, often writes songs about the most endearing and humbling aspects of being from a small town. Jay sings with his best friend, Jill Vaccaro who is also from the Worcester area.

10pm - DIRT ROAD APPLES 

Karen Kalafatas and Eric Salt join together to play decades of favorite hits! For their ‘day job’ Karen and Eric perform regularly in the well known children’s rock group, “Karen K and the Jitterbugs”. Eric is a veteran of the Boston music scene and his own group, “Eric Salt and the Electric City” released a brand new batch of new music in 2017 on their album, “Wind and Swagger”.
