Finding the Right Teacher Tips

A few tips on searching for that right fit for a music teacher….

Look for experience in your genre (jazz, metal, pop, etc.).
Ask about trial lessons or discounted intro sessions.
Focus on teaching style — some teachers are super-duper technical, while others focus on creativity and letting it all hang out….

And don't forget - many teachers offer online lessons now, too — perfect if you’re balancing gigs and school (or 3 kids like Tim).
