Tim Ko is the founder of www.BostonLovesMusic.com , a community based website featuring many local area musicians and events. He hosts several weekly open mics and special open mic events around the Boston area, has several album releases of original music and performs upbeat cover music for weddings, corporate events and local watering holes.

- Began learning guitar at age 13. Was taught by his Mother and school teacher, Sister Bernadette.
- A lot of performing experience came from playing weekly at their Catholic Folk Mass.
- Co-founder, songwriter and rhythm guitarist for the 90's band, Cotton Mouth ( aka The Bootmill Flavor ), which began in NJ, but had strong popularity in Lowell, MA where Tim and several members attended college. The band self released 3 albums, consisting mostly of Tim's original songs.
- After the break up of his college band, Cotton Mouth, Tim moved to New York City and formed/fronted his own band, The Almighty Buck. They self-released a full length album, "Horse and Rider".
- 2002, Tim moved to Boston and found new band members to play live and record The Almighty Buck's 2nd self-release, "So Long".
- 2005-2011 was invested in growing his new family. Several non-music career options were attempted to no avail.
- 2011 Tim Ko begins his first Open Mic which is still going strong today, at Tommy Doyle's in Newton, MA. He now hosts several other open mics plus performs upbeat cover songs for corporate events, wedding cocktail hours, and restaurants/bars in the Boston area.
- 2013 began with new shows, members and songs for his original band The Almighty Buck. They play regularly around the Greater Boston Area and are working on a new album.
