*** Good news about the blues jam formerly at the Porch in Medford!
Tony Savarino has arranged with Sally O'Brien's in Somerville to continue "The People's Jam" on Sundays from 12:50 pm to 5:50 pm So, it's an hour longer than it was at the Porch! He calls it "The Peoples Jam".

*** NERFA Conference (North East Regional Folk Alliance)
Nov. 20th-24th in Portland, ME.
It's an interesting event. I'll be going. Let me know if you are!
What is NERFA? It's for aspiring singer/songwriters in the folk/roots/country/rock/more-folk vein. They have seminars by veteran industry people who speak on the many mysterious things in the music industry. It's a place to network with other likeminded musicians. In the wee hours of the evening they have these "showcases" in hotel rooms. Kind of like a very mini porchfest. They have open mics and more formal showcases of local talent. https://nerfa.org/about/
